This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by jihost ("jihost", "we", "us", "our"), the operator of the online gaming platform at jihost.co. jihost operates under a license issued by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation ("PAGCOR") and is subject to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations ("IRR"), as enforced by the National Privacy Commission ("NPC") of the Philippines.
This Policy applies to all personal information collected from players, prospective players, and visitors to the jihost platform and website. By registering an account with jihost or using the platform in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consent to the data practices described in this Policy.
1 Introduction & Scope
This Policy describes jihost's practices regarding the collection, use, storage, sharing, and disposal of personal information obtained through your use of the jihost platform, including the website at jihost.co, all associated subdomains, mobile-optimised interfaces, and communications issued by jihost via email, SMS, or push notification.
This Policy should be read together with the jihost Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, the jihost Responsible Gaming Policy. Terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the jihost Terms and Conditions.
jihost serves players across the Philippines — from Metro Manila and Cebu to Davao, Iloilo, and beyond. Wherever you are playing from within the Philippines, the same data protections described in this Policy apply to you.
2 Data Controller
For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012, jihost is the personal information controller in respect of all personal data collected through the jihost platform. jihost determines the purposes and means of processing personal information obtained from players and platform visitors.
jihost has designated a Data Protection Officer ("DPO") responsible for overseeing compliance with applicable data privacy laws and handling data subject requests and complaints. The DPO may be contacted via the details provided in Section 17 of this Policy.
3 Data We Collect
3.1 Registration and Identity Data
When you register a jihost account, we collect: your full legal name, date of birth, Philippine mobile number, email address, and registered residential address. This information is required to create your account and fulfil our Know Your Customer ("KYC") and anti-money laundering obligations under Philippine law.
3.2 Identity Verification Documents
As part of the KYC process required by PAGCOR and the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001 (RA 9160, as amended), jihost collects copies of government-issued Philippine identification documents, which may include: Philippine National ID (PhilSys), UMID, SSS ID, driver's license, passport, or PRC ID. Selfie photographs for document matching may also be requested.
3.3 Financial and Transaction Data
jihost collects information relating to your financial transactions on the platform, including: deposit amounts and dates, withdrawal amounts and processing status, GCash and Maya account references (partial numbers only — jihost does not store full e-wallet credentials), bank account details provided for withdrawals, and a complete history of bets placed and game results.
3.4 Technical and Device Data
When you access jihost, we automatically collect certain technical data, including: IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, session timestamps, pages visited and navigation path within the platform, and referring URL if you reached jihost from a link.
3.5 Communications Data
Records of your communications with jihost customer support — including live chat transcripts, email correspondence, and SMS messages — are retained to assist with dispute resolution, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
3.6 Responsible Gaming Data
Where you use responsible gaming tools such as deposit limits, self-exclusion requests, or cooling-off periods, jihost records these instructions and maintains logs of their activation, modification, and status. This data is treated with particular sensitivity and is used exclusively to enforce your responsible gaming preferences.
4 How We Collect Data
jihost collects personal information through the following means:
- Directly from you — through account registration forms, KYC document upload, deposit and withdrawal requests, support interactions, and responsible gaming tool activation on the jihost platform;
- Automatically — through cookies, web beacons, server logs, and similar tracking technologies when you browse the jihost website or use the gaming platform, as described further in Section 8;
- From third-party payment providers — GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, 7-Eleven CLiQQ, Coins.ph, and USDT TRC20 processors may provide transaction reference data to jihost to reconcile deposits and withdrawals;
- From game providers — third-party game studios integrated into the jihost platform may provide game session data (bet amounts, results, RTP information) to jihost for the purposes of account management, dispute resolution, and regulatory reporting;
- From PAGCOR or other regulatory authorities — jihost may receive information from PAGCOR regarding the gaming exclusion registry, compliance investigations, or licensing requirements.
5 Legal Basis for Processing
jihost processes your personal information under one or more of the following legal bases as recognised under the Data Privacy Act of 2012:
- Contractual necessity: Processing is necessary to perform the contract between you and jihost — specifically to create and manage your account, process deposits and withdrawals, and provide gaming services;
- Legal obligation: Processing is required to comply with jihost's obligations under PAGCOR regulation, the Anti-Money Laundering Act (RA 9160 as amended by RA 10365), the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and other applicable Philippine laws;
- Legitimate interests: Processing is necessary for jihost's legitimate interests in fraud prevention, platform security, responsible gaming enforcement, and service improvement, where such interests do not override your fundamental rights;
- Consent: Where jihost relies on your consent (for example, for direct marketing communications), you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
6 How We Use Your Data
jihost uses personal information collected from you for the following purposes:
- Creating, maintaining, and verifying your jihost account, including KYC and age verification;
- Processing deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions through GCash, Maya, and other approved payment methods;
- Providing, personalising, and improving the jihost gaming platform and related services;
- Detecting and preventing fraud, money laundering, identity theft, account takeover, and other forms of abuse;
- Complying with PAGCOR licensing conditions, AMLA reporting obligations, and other legal requirements;
- Enforcing responsible gaming measures, including deposit limits, self-exclusion, and gaming exclusion registry coordination;
- Providing customer support and resolving disputes;
- Sending transactional communications — account confirmations, deposit receipts, withdrawal notifications, and security alerts — that are necessary for the performance of the contract and cannot be opted out of while your account is active;
- Sending promotional and marketing communications where you have provided consent or where permitted by applicable law, subject to your opt-out rights;
- Conducting internal analytics, audits, and research to improve our services and meet regulatory requirements;
- Maintaining business records as required by Philippine tax and corporate law.
7 Data Sharing and Disclosure
7.1 Third-Party Service Providers
jihost shares personal data with carefully selected third-party service providers who process data on our behalf and under our instructions. These include: payment processors (GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, Coins.ph, and USDT infrastructure providers); identity verification and KYC service providers; game studios and software providers whose games are available on the jihost platform; customer support platform providers; cloud hosting and infrastructure providers; and cybersecurity and fraud prevention services.
All third-party processors engaged by jihost are subject to data processing agreements that require them to implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures and prohibit them from using your personal data for any purpose other than providing the services contracted by jihost.
7.2 Regulatory Disclosure
jihost will disclose personal data to PAGCOR, the Anti-Money Laundering Council ("AMLC"), the National Privacy Commission, law enforcement authorities, and other competent Philippine government bodies where required by law, court order, or valid legal process. jihost will make reasonable efforts to notify you of such disclosure unless prohibited from doing so by law or court order.
7.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or substantially all of the assets of jihost, personal data held by jihost may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the successor entity being bound by data protection obligations consistent with this Policy and applicable Philippine law.
7.4 No Sale of Personal Data
jihost does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Any disclosure outside of the categories listed above requires your express prior consent.
8 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
jihost uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the jihost website and platform. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. jihost uses the following categories of cookies:
- Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the platform to function. These include session authentication cookies, CSRF protection tokens, and cookies that remember your login state. These cannot be disabled without breaking core platform functionality.
- Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences (such as language settings and responsible gaming tool configurations) to improve your experience on the jihost platform.
- Analytics Cookies: Collect anonymised or aggregated data about how players navigate and use the platform, to help jihost identify usability issues and improve the product. No personally identifiable information is sent to analytics providers.
- Security Cookies: Used to detect and prevent fraud, account takeover, and bot activity. These cookies are part of jihost's fraud prevention systems.
jihost does not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will affect your ability to use the jihost platform.
9 Data Security
jihost implements a layered set of technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and the jihost platform;
- Encryption of sensitive data fields (including identity document images and financial identifiers) within the jihost database;
- Role-based access controls that restrict employee access to personal data to those with a legitimate operational need;
- Multi-factor authentication for all jihost staff accessing systems that hold personal data;
- Regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments by qualified third-party security professionals;
- Incident response procedures that include notification of affected players and the National Privacy Commission within the timeframes required by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its IRR in the event of a personal data breach.
While jihost applies rigorous security standards, no system is entirely impenetrable. You share responsibility for the security of your jihost account by maintaining a strong, unique password and protecting your login credentials from disclosure to third parties.
10 Data Retention
jihost retains personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by Philippine law or regulatory obligation. The following general retention periods apply:
- Account and identity data: Retained for the duration of your active jihost account plus five (5) years following account closure, to comply with PAGCOR record-keeping requirements and AMLA obligations;
- KYC documents: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years following the end of the business relationship, as required by the Anti-Money Laundering Act;
- Financial transaction records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of each transaction;
- Support communications: Retained for three (3) years following the closure of the relevant support interaction;
- Technical and device data: Retained for twelve (12) months from the date of collection, unless retained longer for active fraud investigation purposes;
- Self-exclusion records: Retained indefinitely to ensure compliance with permanent self-exclusion requests and the PAGCOR gaming exclusion registry.
Following the expiry of applicable retention periods, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised in a manner that prevents re-identification.

If jihost becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a person under 21 years of age, the relevant account will be immediately suspended, and all personal data associated with that account will be deleted following the resolution of any outstanding financial obligations in accordance with applicable PAGCOR and AMLA requirements.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a person under 21 has registered on the jihost platform using false information, please contact our support team immediately via the 24/7 live chat or the contact details in Section 17.
13 Cross-Border Data Transfers
Certain third-party service providers engaged by jihost — including cloud infrastructure providers, game studios, and KYC verification services — may process personal data in jurisdictions outside the Philippines. Where personal data is transferred outside the Philippines, jihost ensures that such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, including data processing agreements that impose data protection standards equivalent to those required under Philippine law.
jihost will not transfer personal data to a jurisdiction that does not provide an adequate level of data protection unless appropriate contractual safeguards are in place. You may request information about the specific countries to which your data is transferred by contacting the jihost Data Protection Officer.
14 Marketing Communications
jihost may send you promotional communications about new games, bonus offers, and platform updates via email and SMS. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by: (a) clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email; (b) replying STOP to any marketing SMS; or (c) updating your communication preferences in your jihost account settings.
Opting out of marketing communications does not affect the delivery of transactional messages that are necessary for the operation of your jihost account — such as deposit confirmations, withdrawal notifications, and security alerts. These communications cannot be disabled while your account is active as they form part of the contractual services jihost provides to you.
jihost does not share your contact details with third-party marketers. All marketing communications you receive are sent directly by jihost or by a contracted third-party platform acting solely on jihost's behalf and under jihost's instructions.
15 Third-Party Websites and Services
The jihost platform may contain references or navigational links to third-party websites or services, including game providers' information pages or payment provider interfaces. jihost is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or data security of any third-party website or service that is not operated by jihost. The privacy policies of such third parties govern the collection and use of personal data on those platforms.
jihost encourages you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service before providing personal information to that service.
16 Policy Amendments
jihost reserves the right to amend, update, or replace this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data practices, business operations, or applicable law. Material changes to this Policy will be communicated to registered players via email or a prominent notice on the jihost platform at least fourteen (14) days before the changes take effect, except where an immediate change is required by law or to address a security incident.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy reflects the date of the most recent revision. Your continued use of the jihost platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not accept an amendment, you may request closure of your account in accordance with the jihost Terms and Conditions.
